On February 10, the Playhouse Studio theater project will present a play based on the works of Alexander Pushkin. Playhouse Studio works at the intersection of tradition and innovation: the productions combine different theater schools, visual solutions and musical forms. The Theater in Khamovniki became the venue for the performance "Little Tragedies".

The next premiere of the production project will be the play "Little Tragedies". Director Vladimir Mirzoev will present to the audience his interpretation of the works of Alexander Pushkin: "Mozart and Salieri", "The Stone Guest", "The Miserly Knight", "A Scene from Faust", "The Priest and the Poet", "The Poet and the Crowd".

The three symbolic pillars, "three elephants", as Vladimir Mirzoev says, on which the universe of this performance is based, are poetry, psychological drama and choreography in the style of "contemporary". The difficult moral circumstances in which the characters find themselves exacerbate the conflict of generations, give rise to envy and avarice, push them to murder and adultery, and lead to loss of faith. The moral dilemmas and internal conflicts that arise in the formulation prompt us to think about the fact that the commandments are easy to keep as long as they do not conflict with our passions and fear of death. The eternal struggle between good and evil is expressed through Mozart's music, which permeates the entire production. A special place in the performance is occupied by visual and plastic metaphors realized with the help of modern dance and set design.

The co—author of the production is the famous choreographer Ksenia Mikheeva, she is a two-time winner of the national theater award "Golden Mask" and the winner of the highest theater award of St. Petersburg "Golden Spotlight", choreographer of the Dancing with the Stars project on TNT.

The set designer and costume designer is Alisa Melikova. In creative tandem with Alisa Melikova, Vladimir Mirzoev has already created several successful theater projects. These are the performances "The Ragamuffin" and "Aesop" in RAMTHA, "The King is Dying" and "I killed the King" in the space "Inside", as well as the immersive drama "Crime and Punishment".

The production employs artists from different generations and schools: Vladimir Eremin (Lenkom, Russian Army Theater), Mamuka Patarava (Mayakovsky Theater), Alexey Shilnikov, Evelina Mazurina, Alexander Doronin (RAMT), Sergey Sarkits, Sergey Lipovsky, Veronika Panaitova, Evgeny Bulavkin, Maria Kulik, Alexandra Malova, Elizaveta Shirokova.

Premiere on February 10 and 16 at 19:00, premiere screenings on March 10, 17 and 24.
