The amount of damage caused to the relatives of the late lead singer of the band "Tender May" Yuri Shatunov in the criminal case against the ex-producer of the band Andrei Razin has reached 1 billion rubles. Lawyer Oleg Sitnikov told Izvestia about this on January 28.

According to him, earlier the relatives of the performer found a document, which, according to them, was falsified by Razin. We are talking about an agreement signed in 2013, according to which Shatunov gave the producer the right to demand the suppression of abuse of his name.

The Tagansky Court of Moscow arrested producer Razin in absentia on December 30 last year. On December 11, the investigators filed a motion with the court for Razin's arrest in absentia. In addition, Razin's former driver confirmed to the investigation that his employer lives in the United States. It was noted that after that Razin left the territory of Russia due to the initiation of a criminal case. In November, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation put Razin on the wanted list, and the material damage in the case against him amounted to about 500 million rubles.

Razin was charged with fraud on a particularly large scale on November 24, 2025. According to the investigation, the producer for a long time used a fake contract with the author of the songs "Tender May" Kuznetsov and received money as the copyright holder. The poet's widow was recognized as a victim in the case.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating two episodes in the criminal case of especially large-scale fraud against Razin. It was clarified that a criminal case was initiated in 2021 on the embezzlement of funds that were to be paid to Kuznetsov as royalties. The poet's widow was recognized as a victim in this case.
