State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich reported to President Alexander Lukashenko on the progress of a large-scale surprise check of the combat readiness of the armed forces. This was reported on January 28 by the BelTA news agency.

The report describes in detail the interim results of the inspection, the fulfillment of tasks by personnel and equipment. During the meeting, the President also focused on applying the experience of modern military conflicts in the context of the Belarusian forested and swampy area. He outlined the tasks for the continuation of the inspection, which will last until the spring of 2026.
