Gudkov's lawyer appealed the fine for the clip "I'm narrow"

The lawyer of TV presenter and blogger Alexander Gudkov filed an appeal against a fine of 11 thousand rubles imposed by the court in the case of incitement to hatred because of the clip "I am narrow".

According to RIA Novosti, the complaint was registered in court on January 26 and has already been sent to the court of appeal. Its consideration is scheduled for February.

It is noted that Gudkov's lawyer declined to comment.

On January 13, the Krasnogorsk City Court fined comedian Alexander Gudkov in a hate speech case. The court found that the publication of the clip contained actions aimed at humiliating human dignity on the basis of origin, and imposed an administrative fine of 11 thousand rubles. The decision was made under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Incitement to hatred").
