- Kazakhstan lost about 3.8 million tons of oil in exports due to the attacks on the CPC
Kazakhstan lost about 3.8 million tons of oil in exports due to the attacks on the CPC. This was announced on January 28 by the Minister of Energy of the Republic Yerlan Akkenzhenov.
According to him, Kazakhstan did not receive nearly 1 million tons of oil due to the suspension of the Tengiz and Korolevskoye fields after the attacks on tankers. After the attacks on tankers near the facilities of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, the cost of ship insurance has also increased significantly.
