83 people were evacuated from a five-star hotel in the Courchevel ski resort in France as a result of a fire. This was reported on January 27 by the French newspaper L'est Republicain, citing data from the fire service.
"Firefighters responded promptly (to information about the fire. — Ed.), having evacuated 83 people from the Grandes Alpes hotel in the resort town of Courchevel," the publication says.
According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the incident. As noted in the publication, the fire spread across the roof. About 60 specialists were involved in extinguishing the fire.
