A new vote dedicated to the large-scale seasonal project "Winter in Moscow" has started in the Active Citizen project. Residents of the capital are invited to share their impressions of visiting the central city venues, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Muscovites will appreciate five venues with winter decorations. Among them are the space on Theater Square, decorated based on the fairy tale "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King," and the gingerbread town on Kamergersky Lane," Natalia Sergunina said.

Another project site, Mechanics of Miracles, is located on Kuznetsky Most Street. Visitors are greeted by mechanical toys, including magical birds and an antique train moving through the green arch.

During the winter season, Stoleshnikov Lane is decorated in the form of a pastry shop window with marshmallow garlands. The territory near the Russian State Library was stylized as a reading room with large lamps and mock—ups of books ranging from popular works to rare editions.

As part of the voting, users can not only evaluate the presented locations, but also offer ideas for improvement and a variety of decorative compositions.

The sites of the Winter in Moscow project will be available to the public until the end of the cold season. More than 90 percent of the decorations from previous years are used in the decoration.

In addition, patriotic and charity programs, theatrical performances and concerts, creative workshops and film screenings, excursions, quests and lectures are taking place in the capital until February 28.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
