The power supply line was installed on temporary poles in the Murmansk region.
After the collapse of the power line in the Murmansk region, specialists installed a temporary power supply line on temporary poles. This was announced on January 27 by the governor of the region Andrey Chibis.
"The power supply line has been installed on temporary poles," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
At the moment, the specialists have started a test voltage supply. If everything goes well, a full power supply will be provided to restore power supply in Murmansk and Severomorsk, where there were previous outages.
In addition, work continues on the installation of permanent supports. Specialists of operational and emergency services remain on high alert.
Chibis said on January 26 that all key facilities and strategic enterprises in the Murmansk Region are provided with electricity. He also noted the need to increase investments in network infrastructure after the incident with the collapse of the power transmission line in the region.
The day before, on January 25, he spoke about the introduction of an emergency regime in the region due to the protracted nature of the accident in the power system. It was clarified that for the residents of the region, the introduction of this regime would not entail changes in their daily lives.
At the same time, the mayor of Murmansk, Ivan Lebedev, said on January 24 that due to the blackout, street aid stations began to open in the city, where you can charge electronic devices and get groceries. As a result, interactive maps were prepared for Murmansk residents, on which the addresses of heating points, field kitchens and places for charging phones were marked.
