135 billion rubles will be allocated in the Moscow region for the repair and construction of social facilities

In 2026, the Moscow Region intends to allocate 135 billion rubles for the construction and overhaul of social infrastructure facilities. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Economy and Finance.

We are talking about schools and kindergartens, polyclinics and hospitals, sports facilities and cultural institutions. Funds for their construction and renovation will be allocated within the framework of the relevant state program.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, 48 billion rubles are provided for the development of medical infrastructure. It is planned to build several new facilities and modernize a number of existing ones.

Another 63 billion will be spent on educational facilities. So, 16 billion will be spent on the renovation of schools, 13 billion — on the repair of kindergartens. The funds will also be used to complete the construction of schools in Krasnogorsk, Losino-Petrovsky and Kotelniki, the construction of kindergartens in Lyubertsy (for 560 places), in Sergiev Posad district (for 280 places) and in Solnechnogorsk (for 250 places).

More than 6 billion rubles are provided for the repair of cultural facilities. This year, it is planned to complete the renovation of seven such facilities, as well as 10 children's music and art schools. 14 billion rubles will be allocated for sports facilities, of which 7.7 billion will be spent on construction and reconstruction, and 6.5 billion on capital repairs of stadiums and sports complexes.

Earlier in January, it was reported that a large-scale overhaul of the Vimpel sports complex had started in Korolev, Moscow region.
