An elderly motorist died after a collision with a truck on the highway "Don"

In the Khleven district of the Lipetsk region, an 85-year-old motorist was killed as a result of a collision between a car and a truck. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred last Sunday, January 25, on the federal highway M-4 "Don". According to the traffic police, a ZAZ driven by an 85-year-old man and a MAN truck driven by a 31-year-old man collided.

As a result of the accident, an elderly motorist received various injuries and was hospitalized. It was not possible to save him, the man died in the hospital, writes GOROD48.

Earlier in the day, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry told Izvestia that 301 accidents had occurred on the country's roads over the past weekend, resulting in 33 deaths and 391 injuries.
