VTB noted an increase in the number of salary clients

By the end of 2025, VTB's portfolio of individual salary clients grew by 1.6 million, reaching 11.1 million people. The result was a record for the bank. This was reported by the VTB press service.

The number of corporate clients within the salary project, in turn, increased by 28%, reaching 440 thousand.

The increase in the number of salary clients last year was largely provided by employees of a number of promising industries, VTB noted. For each of them, the bank makes proposals based on the industry profile of employees. This made it possible to increase the number of IT specialists and telecom employees in the salary project by 78%, clients from the real estate sector by 28%, as well as achieve significant growth in the number of clients from the fields of education, finance and agriculture: in each of these areas, the growth was 21%. As for geography, the largest number of salary clients are in the metropolitan regions, as well as in the Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan, Chelyabinsk and Samara regions.

"The relaunch of the salary project last year allowed us to overcome another milestone of 11 million customers. VTB PO has become a separate brand in the market. We didn't just repackage the product, we redesigned the loyalty program, added game and incentive mechanics, focusing on developing the bank for trust and cooperation," said Dmitry Breitenbikher, member of the VTB Management Board.
