Life.ru awarded for strengthening Russian-Chinese friendship

Chinese Ambassador to Moscow Zhang Hanhui presented to the editor-in-chief Life.ru Marina Feshchenko was awarded for her contribution to strengthening Russian-Chinese friendship. The ceremony took place at a reception for representatives of the leading Russian media at the diplomatic mission of the People's Republic of China.

The event was attended by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, as well as a number of other high-ranking guests. In her response, Marina Feshchenko quoted the Eastern wisdom that one must walk alone for a fast journey, and together for a long one, noting its special relevance on the threshold of the year of the Fiery Horse.

She stressed that the work of the media is at the intersection of cultures and meanings, often requiring translation not only from language to language, but also from mentality to mentality.
