On January 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in events dedicated to the anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Tomorrow will be a day of memorial events dedicated to the events of the blockade. <...> And traditionally Putin takes part in memorial events," he said.
