Avtodor denied the rise in prices for toll roads in January
Avtodor has not yet indexed toll road fares in 2026. The press service of the state-owned company announced this in its Telegram channel on January 26.
"In connection with information about tariff increases spread on social networks, we inform you that this year the state—owned Avtodor company has not yet indexed fares on toll federal highways," the statement said.
Earlier in the day, the media reported that toll roads in Russia have become more expensive. Since January 12, prices for travel along the M‑11 Neva have allegedly increased, and changes are being prepared for the M‑4 Don, M‑12 Vostok, and Central Ring Road.
As the head of Avtodor, Vyacheslav Petushenko, said last week, the state-owned company is considering the possibility of raising fares on its toll roads in 2026, the issue will be studied, among other things, for reasons of inflation and rising road maintenance costs.
By the end of 2025, Avtodor, together with the regional divisions of the traffic police and Rostransnadzor, identified about 1.3 thousand administrative violations, it became known on January 20. About 200 raids were carried out on expressways to identify hidden numbers.
