A new flight will fly from Vladivostok to Vietnam from April 2026. Flights to Da Nang Resort, a city on the coast of the South China Sea in the central part of the country, are planned to be carried out once every 10 days.

The flight will be operated by the Vietnamese low-cost airline VietJet Air on Airbus A321neo aircraft, writes PrimaMedia news agency with reference to the press service of Vladivostok International Airport JSC. The flight time will be 6 hours and 20 minutes.

The agency notes that Da Nang is the terminus of the East-West transport corridor, which covers Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. The same airline already operates charter flights from Vladivostok to Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam.

Earlier, in May, it was reported that Russian tourists began to gravitate especially towards railway trips to the Far East and the Urals. This is stated in the results of a study conducted by analysts of the Sberbank loyalty program. At the same time, among the international destinations in 2025, Russians chose Asian countries: China, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand — it was there that hotels were most often booked for the May holidays.
