"The King and the Fool. Forever" is a musical adventure fantasy. The action takes place in the world of songs of the legendary rock band. The fairy-tale universe is being destroyed because of the dead, resurrected by the villain Necromancer. To save his family and friends, Gorshok kidnaps Andrey Knyazev from reality into a fairy tale, and they stand side by side to protect the world they created.

The same actors played in the film as in the series.: Konstantin Plotnikov as the Pot, Vlad Konoplev as the Prince, Daria Melnikova as the Widow, Vera Volt as the Princess, Ilya Khvostikov as the Stump. Ilya Grishin, who played the main antagonist in the fairy—tale universe, the Necromancer, as well as Gosha Kutsenko as a psychoanalyst, also joined the cast of the project. Jane Air frontman Anton Lissov will appear in the film as a zombie named Sid, while The Hatters' vocalist Anna Muzychenko will appear as a Witch.

The film is directed by Rustam Mosafir. He also co-wrote the script with Alexander Buzin. For the production of the film "The King and the Fool. Forever" is the responsibility of Plus Studio, Lunapark company and Liga Film. The project is produced by Dmitry Nelidov, Alexandra Remizova, Olga Filipuk, Mikhail Kitaev, Alexander Syrov, Andrey Fedyai, Elena Melnikova and Agata Nigrovskaya. The film is also co-produced by the soloist of the band "The King and the Fool" Andrey "Prince" Knyazev and music producer Igor "Panker" Gudkov, who shot three cult concert films for the band — "Holiday Buffoons", "Men Ate meat" and "On the Edge".
