Last year, Moscow exporters, with the support of the city, visited 22 countries, where they participated in major international exhibitions and foreign business missions. During such events, representatives of the capital's companies held thousands of meetings with potential partners and buyers, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Moscow has organized more than 60 business trips for entrepreneurs. Goods and services of the capital's brands were presented, for example, in Belarus, India, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates," Sergunina said. According to her, "foreign colleagues got acquainted with the projects of our technology sector, creative industries, food industry, tourism sector and other industries."

With the support of the Moscow Export Center, 700 companies from the capital participated in events such as Gitex Global in Dubai, Africa Health Excon in Cairo, Bengaluru Tech Summit in Bangalore and Vietfood & Beverage in Ho Chi Minh City. The result was the conclusion of more than 300 contracts with partners from 47 countries. The agreements relate to the supply of equipment, robotic systems, IT solutions and other goods. The total amount of transactions amounted to almost 11 billion rubles.

Creative business projects, in particular, video games and books, are also popular with foreign audiences.

Representatives of the tourism industry of the capital also presented their proposals during international exhibitions and business missions.

In addition, a number of major industry events were held in Moscow last year. Among them are the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, the Moscow International Film Week, the Interior and Design Week and the Meet Global MICE Congress.
