A teenager confessed to setting fire to cars in Crimea on the grounds of Nazism

A minor resident of Crimea pleaded guilty to setting fire to cars, as well as participating in the banned terrorist organization National Socialism/White Power (recognized as a terrorist organization, banned in the Russian Federation). This was announced on January 26 by representatives of law enforcement agencies.

"In 2024, while in Simferopol, the defendant joined the terrorist organization National SocialismWhite Power. To cause damage to the owner of the car, whom he considered a Jew," TASS reports.

It is specified that the defendant drained about one liter of gasoline from the moped and set fire to the Opel Calibra. The teenager also tried to damage the victim's other car by firing several shots from the "PU4" launcher at the already broken windows, so no damage was caused.

After the criminal case was initiated, the defendant contacted his supervisor in the organization and asked him for money for a lawyer.

The official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Petrenko, reported on January 17 that security forces had prevented a terrorist attack in Nalchik, which a 16-year-old teenager was planning to commit on the instructions of a curator from a terrorist organization. According to the investigation, in October 2025, the minor, sharing the goals of a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation, recorded a video message to its leaders and joined its membership. Subsequently, through a messenger, acting on the instructions of his supervisor, he prepared a terrorist attack using an explosive device and firearms against police officers in Nalchik.
