The Iranian Foreign Ministry denied rumors about 30,000 dead during the protests.
Statements by Western media about 30,000 dead during protests in the Islamic Republic were refuted on January 25 by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai.
"A big lie in the style of Hitler: isn't this the number of people they intended to kill on the streets of Iran? However, they failed, and now they are trying to spread such fakes in the media," the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on his official page on the social network X.
He noted that such actions are truly cruel.
