- Kim Jong-un supervised the creation of a sculpture complex for the museum of the exploits of the KPA
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un personally supervised the manufacturing process of the sculpture complex, which is planned to be installed in the museum of the exploits of the soldiers of the Korean People's Army (KPA) who participated in the liberation and demining of the Kursk region. This was reported on January 25 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
"Comrade Kim Jong-un expressed satisfaction that the overall work on the creation of sculptures is carried out on the principle of ensuring monumental value and symbolism at the highest level," the publication says.
It is noted that during the visit, he got acquainted with the symbolic tower, the central and auxiliary groups of sculptures, as well as decorative elements on the exterior wall of the complex, appreciating the creative form and artistic perfection of each detail.
Kim Jong-un gave instructions on further improvement of sculptures, including a realistic display of fighting spirit, brotherhood and devotion to the Motherland, as well as a harmonious combination of architecture and forms of monuments. He expressed confidence that the creative team of Mansu University will embody the eternal gratitude and respect of the party, government, army and people for the patriots of the DPRK.
Earlier, on January 20, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made a statement at a press conference that North Korea had provided fraternal assistance to Russia in liberating the Kursk region from Ukraine.
The Minister recalled Russia's cooperation with the countries of Eurasia, as well as the initiatives of Russian President Vladimir Putin on continental security and partnership. In particular, he recalled the relations with the DPRK.
