More than 10,000 flights were canceled in the United States amid a severe snowstorm. This was confirmed on January 25 by data from the FlightAware portal.

As of 17:15 Moscow time on Sunday, the number of cancelled flights — both domestic and international — departing or arriving in the United States exceeded 10,000.

The National Meteorological Service of the country also warns of heavy snowfalls and dangerous ice in the territory from the eastern regions of Texas to North Carolina. Due to adverse weather conditions, an emergency regime has been introduced in at least 21 US states.
