As the mayor noted, Moscow is the largest educational center in the country, which unites children from all regions. Students of the capital are "future engineers, builders, programmers, doctors, teachers — those who will develop our city and its economy in the coming years," Sobyanin wrote in his channel in the IACH.

According to the mayor, the authorities of the capital are trying to make the city "not only a place of study for students, but also a space of opportunities." To achieve this goal, in particular, the Moscow Youth project is operating, where you can "get support for initiatives, find internships or jobs, engage in creativity and sports, declare yourself at competitions and find a team of like-minded people," Sobyanin said, wishing students success, self-confidence and interesting tasks on the way to the goal..

Earlier in January, at a meeting with students of the capital's colleges, the mayor recalled that Moscow offers wide opportunities for students. In particular, in December, the Meeting of Friends restaurant opened in the Palace of Pioneers on Vorobyovy Gory as part of the Winter in Moscow project, where students can work as waiters, cooks, pastry chefs, hostesses and baristas. According to the mayor, the site is popular — it was visited by over 11.5 thousand people.

At the request of the youth, they decided to make the restaurant permanently operational. The mayor proposed to "replicate this practice" in other districts of Moscow.

Sobyanin added that students are also attracted to social projects. For example, last year, students of the Moscow Technological College named after I.A. Likhachev created New Year's installations for children's clinics.
