The doctor called an effective way to cope with stress due to deadlines
Alternating work tasks and short timer pauses helps reduce stress levels during busy deadlines. This was announced on January 24 by Maria Lavrenova, a neurologist at the Atribeaute clinic, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».
According to the expert, one of the most effective ways to deal with overload is strict time management. She recommends separating computer work and short rest periods without using gadgets, including simple household chores.
"It reduces the level of arousal, accumulation of fatigue and irritability. At the moment of switching, it is important to do without gadgets, because using them is not a rest, but a change from one type of stimulation to another," Lavrenova explained.
The neurologist also advises shifting the main screen load to the first half of the day and, if possible, reducing it after 16-17 hours. According to her, the bright light of the screens interferes with the production of melatonin and disrupts circadian rhythms, which worsens the quality of sleep.
Additionally, the doctor recommended daily walks in daylight, a stable sleep regime and a short daytime rest of no more than 30 minutes.
Earlier, on January 12, it was reported that the winter period is the most stressful in terms of stress and employee burnout. Ekaterina Zelenkova, HR Director at PROGRESS Group, noted that in the cold season, employees are more likely to lose motivation, make mistakes and break deadlines, which affects the effectiveness of companies. To reduce the workload, she recommended pre-planning tasks, limiting the number of parallel processes, reducing unnecessary communications, and observing working time limits.
