On January 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appealed to Western allies to supply air defense systems for the country after the Russian strikes.

"We cannot delay the supply of air defense. <... > We are counting on the reaction and help of all our partners," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the Kiev regime also expressed the hope that the Ukrainian and American sides will implement what the countries agreed upon during the negotiations in Davos.

Earlier in the day, the Russian army, in response to attacks on civilian targets in Russia, launched a massive strike on a drone-producing plant and energy facilities in Ukraine. Temporary locations of Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries in 157 districts were also eliminated.

The day before, Zelensky said that he had allegedly agreed with US President Donald Trump to transfer an unnamed number of missiles to Kiev for the installation of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). He added that he also talked with Trump about "global things."
