Sobyanin appreciated the popularity of the "Day without turnstiles"

Last year, over 10,000 residents took part in the events held as part of the Moscow "Day without Turnstiles" campaign, which is 25% more than a year earlier. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The "Day without turnstiles" is a free guided tour where Muscovites can find out how the capital's companies work and what specialists they need. "We have been holding them since 2012, and since 2024 we have been focusing more on young people," Sobyanin wrote on his channel in the IACH.

As part of the campaign, employers can "interest young talents and attract qualified personnel to the team," the mayor noted. Last year, more than 140 companies participated in the campaign, more than half from the technology sector. Muscovites visited data centers, scientific laboratories, offices of leading IT companies, production halls, experimental design bureaus and technology parks.

Participants of the Moscow Innovator contest joined the actions that took place in September and December. They were able to present their developments to the visitors, including prefabricated monolithic houses with stone and insulated panels, laboratories for accelerated plant breeding and modern composite materials.

For the first time last year, such sites as the Lefortovo Porcelain Factory and the Moscow-Passazhirskaya-Yaroslavskaya railway station took part in the last campaign. During a visit to one of the capital's film studios, participants were able to learn about the main stages of sound postproduction of films: recording voices and music, editing noises and special effects.

The "Day without turnstiles" is held four times a year. The tours include career workshops, professional trials, lectures on technology, and meetings with managers and owners of companies.
