The biologist told the reasons of premature aging of generation Z
Millennials born at the end of the 20th century often look younger than members of generation Z — zoomers who are barely 25 years old. About this on January 24, "Gazeta.Ru" said biologist Artyom Dzigunenko, explaining that the reasons lie not only in heredity, but also in lifestyle.
"In childhood and adolescence, millennials experienced the heyday of scientific and technological progress, when society began to be massively interested in a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and fitness," the expert noted.
He added that zoomers start using anti-aging cosmetics too early, overloading their skin with procedures and making permanent makeup, and the constant use of filters on social networks creates high expectations and psychological aging for them.
According to Dzigunenko, the influence of gadgets, stress, lack of sleep and poor nutrition accelerate the aging processes of the skin and body among the youth of generation Z. While millennials are actively involved in sports, adhere to a healthy lifestyle and carefully monitor their appearance.
Earlier, on December 14, 2025, it was reported that the alpha generation may face difficulties in managing finances and personal responsibility. Modern children get used to neural networks making decisions for them, which reduces their practical skills and ability to plan expenses.
