The psychologist gave advice on the organization of the family budget

A separate budget may indicate mutual distrust of spouses, psychologist Yuri Kudryavtsev told Izvestia.

"It's like sleeping in different beds, separate from each other. And a common budget and joint farming have a positive effect on the development of mutual relations, as it indicates trust," commented Kudryavtsev.

According to the psychologist, the lack of trust violates the so-called basic security in a relationship, which can eventually lead to a breakup.

"It is necessary to discuss upcoming expenses and agree on what the money will be spent on. From the point of view of family psychology, this is a good relationship scenario," the expert continued.

Another effective scenario, according to the expert, may be a format in which each spouse gives part of the money to a "common pot", and keeps part for himself and can spend at his discretion.
