Sergei Razzhivin, head of the Department of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs (FADN), was detained in Moscow on January 22.

The man is suspected of especially large-scale fraud and abuse of official authority (Part 4 of Article 159 and part 1 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), TASS reports.
