Russia's international reserves increased by $16.6 billion in a week
The international reserves of the Russian Federation increased by $16.6 billion in a week. This was announced on January 22 by the press service of the Central Bank of Russia.
"As of the end of the day on January 16, 2026, international reserves amounted to $769.1 billion, an increase of $16.6 billion over the week," the regulator said in a statement on its website.
Thus, the increase was 2.2%. The Central Bank attributes the increase in reserves to a positive revaluation.
