Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Alexey Polkovnikov from the post of deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo. This was reported on January 21 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To dismiss Alexey Mikhailovich Polkovnikov from the post of deputy head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation," the document says.

The Decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
