Last year, VTB's retail clients made over 13 million cross—border transfers to foreign countries, which is six times more than in 2024.

According to the bank's press service, the total volume of transactions exceeded 294 billion rubles (an increase of 5.8 times). Each client makes an average of four transfers per month. The average check was 22 thousand rubles.

"According to the results of last year, we see a growing demand for transfers abroad, so we will continue to develop not only outgoing, but also incoming transfers for our clients. Stable dynamics of operations supports the popularity of such solutions. This year, we will pay special attention to payments for individuals in China and the QR code payment service abroad. All this will allow us to double the volume of cross—border transfers from retail customers this year," commented Alexey Okhorzin, Senior Vice President and Head of VTB's Retail Business Products Department.

VTB clients most often made transfers to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, China and Kazakhstan. The main purposes of the operations are to help relatives and friends, pay for foreign services, purchase goods and services, as well as replenish accounts for tourist purposes.

In total, the bank's clients can transfer money to more than 150 countries.
