The Turkish authorities are considering proposals from the tourism sector to change certain elements of the all-inclusive system in resort hotels. This was announced on January 19 by representatives of the Turkish authorities.

According to the interlocutor of RIA Novosti, initiatives have been received from both government agencies and private businesses.

"We have received a number of proposals from both the public and private sectors," he said.

The source stressed that this is not about abandoning the popular system, but only about the possible adjustment of its individual details.

"The proposals are interesting, they are currently under consideration," he added.

Earlier, on January 12, it was reported that Turkish resorts are afraid to make significant changes to the all-inclusive system due to the risk of losing Russian tourists. The hotel owners noted that this format largely determines the choice of Turkey as a vacation destination and allows tourists to plan their budget in advance. The Russian market was described as one of the key ones for Antalya, and any drastic adjustments to the system were potentially perceived as a deterioration in the tourism product. High competition in the global market, according to industry representatives, may lead to a redistribution of tourist flow in favor of alternative destinations.
