Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani was the epitome of Italian tenderness and elegance. Fashion expert and TV presenter Vladislav Lisovets told Izvestia about this on January 19.

"Let's just say he was the epitome of Italian tenderness, Italian elegance, because he was known for making women incredibly gentle, beautiful, and refined," Lisovets said.

He also stressed that the fashion designer made red his calling card, and drew attention to the fact that Garavani left in the year of the fiery horse, when red is the most iconic color.

La Repubblica Daily reported on Garavani's death at the age of 93 on the same day. The funeral of the fashion designer will be held on Friday, January 23, in Rome. It was clarified that the designer will be buried in the Church of Our Lady of the Great (Santa Maria Maggiore).

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
