The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into the deaths of two women in a fire near Perm.

A check has been organized in the Perm Region on the death of two women as a result of a fire in the village of Gorbunovo. This is reported by the regional SU TFR.

The fire occurred last Sunday, January 18, in a private house. Rescuers arrived and took two people out of the fire.

After extinguishing the fire, the body of the deceased 61-year-old woman was found in the house. According to the <url> news agency, one of the rescued, a 45—year-old woman, also died in the hospital later.

Upon the death of people, the Investigative Committee organized an inspection, according to the results of which a decision will be made on the initiation of a criminal case. The preliminary cause of the fire in the department is called careless handling of fire when using furnace equipment.

On January 17, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened after a fire that claimed the life of a 12-year-old girl. The fire occurred in a farm building in the village of Orlovo, located in the Moscow region. A man and his two children were in the room at the time of the fire.
