The AK-12K assault rifle was designed in six months
The shortened AK-12K assault rifle was designed and put into production in six months. This was announced on January 19 by Alan Lushnikov, CEO of the Kalashnikov Concern.
"We made such a machine gun in the shortest possible time — in six months — and delivered a large serial batch to the troops. So this is an example when, based on feedback from military personnel from the SVO zone, we have created an almost new effective product," Lushnikov said in an interview with TASS.
