"I drove away from work for five minutes in the morning, I came to swim. We're Orthodox, it's a tradition, and that's how it should be," said Dmitry, one of the participants.
Participant Alexander shared that after swimming he felt "light and light" in his soul, noting the beautiful weather and a great mood.
Participant Lyudmila admitted that the first time she was scarier, but this time it became easier, and she advises everyone to try this swim. Another participant, Alexander, said that he had wanted to take part for a long time and finally decided. Vladimir concluded the series of comments by wishing everyone good luck and good mood.
Earlier that day, celebrations in honor of the Epiphany of the Lord were held in the church of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, attended by parishioners. A solemn service was held in the church of the Ministry of Defense, located in the Odintsovo city district of the Moscow region. The servicemen, along with the clergy, entered the temple with icons of Jesus Christ, portable lanterns and crosses. During the Divine Liturgy, parishioners prayed in front of the icon of the Savior Not Made with Hands, and then attended the Great Consecration of Water.
