Director of the animated film "The Lion King" Roger Allers has died at the age of 76.

Roger Allers, one of the directors of the Disney animated film "The Lion King," is 77 years old. This was announced on January 18 by his colleague, animation artist Dave Bossert.

"I am deeply saddened to learn that our friend Roger Allers has passed away. <...> We just exchanged emails last week when he was traveling in Egypt, which makes this loss even more unrealistic," film producer Dave Bossert confirmed the death of his colleague on Facebook (owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
