Sobyanin praised the development of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone turned 20 years old — the agreement on its creation was signed between the Government of Russia and the Government of the capital on January 18, 2006. This was recalled by the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, adding that after the transition to the city administration in 2016, the SEZ has grown several times.

Currently, Technopolis Moscow has "more than 2 million square meters. high-tech industrial and public-business infrastructure,"there are "over 240 companies operating there, more than 30 thousand jobs have been created," Sobyanin wrote in his channel in the MAX.

According to the mayor, SEZ enterprises are involved in the creation of rare products for the needs of Moscow, Russia and partners from abroad. In particular, in May of last year, the Technorad company's unique robocenter began operating there. "Its opening made it possible to increase the company's industrial capacity for the production of robotics," said Sobyanin.

The SEZ has also launched the production of unique photonic integrated circuits (FIS). Their use makes it possible to increase the data transfer rate by 100 times, Sobyanin pointed out, noting that "the Moscow Photonics Center is the first FIS production center in Russia." And in October, the production of innovative medicines by Generium-Next started at the Alabushevo site.

At the moment, the total volume of private and budgetary investments in the development of industry in the capital's SEZ now amounts to about 490 billion rubles. "We expect that by 2030, total investments will increase 2.4 times and reach 1.2 trillion rubles," the mayor added.

In December, Sobyanin spoke about the breakthrough developments of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ residents. In particular, one of the companies has created a "unique touchscreen display that can be controlled using gestures." This device is "suitable for the demonstration of three-dimensional images": in industry, it can be used, for example, to simulate complex production processes.
