Princess Eugenie of York has completely stopped communicating with her father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor because of his connection with financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of trafficking in sexual services and having relations with minors. This was reported on January 18 by the Daily Mail (DM).

"Princess Eugenie has completely stopped all communication with her disgraced father after the Jeffrey Epstein scandal," the article says.

According to the publication, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was previously stripped of his royal titles, is "devastated" by the breakup of his relationship with his youngest daughter. 35-year-old Eugenia refuses to talk to Andrew and did not visit him at Christmas.

According to the Daily Mail, citing sources, Eugenie's older sister Princess Beatrice adheres to a "balanced approach" and tries to keep in touch with her father and preserve her reputation in the royal family.

The breakdown in relations between Andrew and Eugenie exacerbates the already humiliating situation of the disgraced former prince, who is preparing to leave Royal Lodge, his residence on the Windsor Estate where he has lived for two decades.

Earlier, on December 23, it was reported that ex-Prince Andrew used Sandringham, one of Queen Elizabeth II's favorite estates, for at least one meeting with Epstein's convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. It was noted that Andrew hosted women at Sandringham who were considered his mistresses as part of contacts related to Epstein and his inner circle.

The US Department of Justice began publishing Epstein's files after US President Donald Trump signed a bill on November 19 to make them public. On December 20, Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, joked about a queue of people who wanted to get acquainted with documents declassified on the website of the US Department of Justice.

The first part of the documents, containing the names of more than 150 people involved in the financier's case, was published in January 2024. Among the posted materials were materials that somehow depicted Bill Clinton, British Prince Andrew, as well as Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
