Alexey, the son of the Honored Artist of Russia, rector of the Moscow Art Theater School Igor Zolotovitsky, spoke on January 17 about his father's last words before his death during the farewell ceremony with the actor.

"Dad's last words were… When he was supposed to be taken to the intensive care unit, and he was already in serious condition... the intensive care specialist came, and he said: "Igor Yakovlevich, how are you feeling?" And Dad, coming out of some kind of this dream, he looked at him very intently, you all know that dad's look, and said, "Wow!" It was Dad's last reaction, and he left like that," RIA Novosti quoted Alexei Zolotovitsky as saying.

The farewell ceremony for the People's Artist of the Russian Federation began on the morning of the same day at the Moscow Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov. Relatives, friends and colleagues of the artist gathered in the theater to lay flowers and pay their last respects.

Zolotovitsky died on January 14 at the age of 65. The cause of the artist's death was cancer.
