Russian fighters in the special military operation zone are using a Boomerang FPV drone to psychologically influence the Ukrainian military, dropping propaganda leaflets and broadcasting calls to surrender. This was announced on January 17 by an instructor with the call sign Bitcoin, who performs tasks in the Zaporozhye area.

The Boomerang is the most effective drone in terms of the number of sorties and targets hit. It is a multi-purpose drone and is used not only for ground and air targets. In particular, the drone is used to deliver provisions and ammunition to our fighters, remote mining, and, as practice has shown, it can become an emergency agitator and a flying political officer," TASS quoted him as saying.

He gave an example of how flyers with instructions on surrender were first dropped from a drone, and then a drone with a speaker was sent, broadcasting verbal appeals. The enemy did not give up, and as a result was destroyed.

According to the instructor, the multi-purpose Boomerang, developed in Moscow, is also used to deliver goods to its units, remotely mine and destroy ground and air targets.
