The Russian military destroyed a group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was trying to evacuate a damaged HIMARS multiple launch rocket system from the territory of the Chernihiv region. This was reported on January 17 in the law enforcement agencies.

"After destroying the launcher of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, the enemy attempted to evacuate the installation to the rear," the source told RIA Novosti.
