Tank crews destroyed the strongholds and dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

Tank crews of the Vostok group of forces inflicted fire damage on strongholds and dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on January 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Reconnaissance using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) revealed hidden enemy positions, fortifications and firing points in the forests. Having received the coordinates in real time, the tank unit stealthily advanced, using the terrain, and delivered precise strikes. As a result, strongpoints, dugouts with AFU personnel, machine-gun emplacements and other fortifications were destroyed.

On January 14, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the crews of T-80BV tanks of the Vostok group of forces had eliminated the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It was clarified that the strikes were carried out from closed firing positions. After working out the target, the tank crews promptly left the area, preventing the enemy from tracking the movement and striking back.
