Dmitriev declared the suitability of the north for life due to global warming

The northern territories, including Greenland, may become the most comfortable to live in due to global warming. This was announced on January 17 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

"Greenland is a lever of climate influence. As the Arctic ice melts, warming accelerates, and permafrost releases stored carbon, triggering cascading feedbacks that lead to higher global temperatures. The northern territories may become the most habitable as the Earth warms," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
