BZ reported on the possibility of France leaving NATO amid disagreements in the alliance

In the face of growing disagreements in the Western bloc and obstacles from individual NATO members on the path to a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, France gets a real chance to withdraw from the North Atlantic Alliance. This was reported on January 16 by the Berliner Zeitung (BZ) newspaper.

"For the first time, a specific parliamentary proposal was put up for discussion at the French National Assembly calling for this particular step (the country's withdrawal from NATO)," the article says.
