Roscosmos announced the launch of mass production of the Starlink analog in 2026.

Serial production of the Zorky satellite, designed to become a domestic equivalent of SpaceX's Starlink system, will start in Russia this year. This was announced on January 16 by Dmitry Bakanov, head of the Roscosmos state Corporation.

"The Zorky satellite is presented here — it is a device that shoots from space — and digital maps are created on the basis of these surveys, which are then used by unmanned vehicles. <...> Serial production of this equipment will take place this year," he said on Channel One.
