- Flash mobs and workshops will be held in the west of Moscow as part of the "Winter in Moscow"
A quiz, workshops and flash mobs will be held in the Western Administrative District of Moscow as part of the Winter in Moscow project. You can join the events on January 24, 25 and 31, the press service of the CJSC prefecture reported.
On January 24, at 16:00, a festive event "Polar Commotion" will take place at the ice rink in the Solntsevo district on 50 Let Oktyabrya Street. Visitors will be greeted by animated characters — a Penguin and a Snowman, who will conduct a thematic quiz for children. The program also includes a flash mob "Dance of the Little Penguins" and a master class on making penguin figurines out of cardboard, colored paper, beads and glue.
On January 25, Tatiana's Day, the skating rink in Pionersky Park will host the program "The session is over, you can skate!". The organizers will hold games, contests and a poetry tournament. It starts at 12:00.
On January 31, at 13:00, the event "Drawing the Sun" will also take place in Pionersky Park. Several teams of participants will create a large image of the sun on snow using dry, environmentally friendly paints.
"Each team will be responsible for its own image fragment. The paints can be mixed directly on the snow to create different shades. All participants will receive memorable gifts," said Anastasia Gladysheva, General Director of the Association of Cultural and Leisure Centers of the Western Administrative District.
The Winter in Moscow project is aimed at strengthening social and family ties, creating an atmosphere of unity and mutual support. Special attention is paid to the support of participants and veterans of the special military operation and their families, as well as all those who provide assistance to the front.
