Gosexpertiza approved the project of a new campus in Severobaikalsk in Buryatia

The project of the new campus of the Buryat Republican Multidisciplinary College of Innovative Technologies (GAPOU BRMTIT) has received a positive conclusion. The State Expertise of Buryatia reports on this on Friday, January 16.

A site on Davanskaya Street, adjacent to the college, has been selected for the construction of the new campus. The project involves the construction of dormitory buildings, an educational and scientific laboratory complex and a technological building. The new buildings will be connected to the existing two warm passages.

The area of the hostel will be about 5 thousand square meters, it will be designed for 197 people. Each floor of the building will house living rooms for 1-3 students, as well as kitchens, recreation rooms, laundry rooms, showers and bathrooms.

The laboratory complex with an area of more than 6 thousand square meters will house classrooms and laboratories. The technological building will include many workshops for student practice, training and advanced training of workers. At the same time, as UlanMedia clarifies, the goal of the project is not to increase places at the college, but potentially its implementation will allow to train about 200 additional people.

On October 22, Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, told Izvestia that more than 800 dormitories will be renovated in Russia and 27 world-class campuses will be built.
