The driver of a heavy truck was killed in a collision with another truck in the Angara region.

A man was killed in a collision between a truck and another heavy truck in the Taishetsky district of the Irkutsk region. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Friday morning, January 16, on the 1237th km of the federal highway R-255 "Siberia". According to preliminary data, a 48-year-old Hino truck driver crashed into a Volvo heavy truck that was standing on the side of the road.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the first truck received various injuries, from which he died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. The circumstances of the accident are being established, and the police are conducting an inspection.

According to IrkutskMedia news agency, the 49-year-old Volvo driver had to stop on the highway due to freezing diesel fuel.

At the end of December, three heavy trucks collided on the section of the federal highway M-4 "Don" in the Tula region. As a result, all three trucks ended up in a ditch. The driver of one of the trucks was killed, and another was injured.
