Almost 30 Leningrad Region projects will be supported by presidential grants

In the Leningrad Region, 28 initiatives will receive support from the Presidential Grants Fund. Regional projects will receive more than 78 million rubles for implementation.

As he writes 78.ru with reference to Leningrant, the record holder of the competition was the project "Together for Wildlife". The grant amount is 14.5 million rubles. As part of the project, a rating of Red Book animals and plants will be created using an all-Russian vote.

Other winning projects include an adaptation program for people in neuropsychiatric boarding schools, a youth school of regional history, and inclusive meetings in Kirishi.

Earlier, on January 15, the Kremlin's press service reported that the Presidential Grants Fund would allocate about 4.9 billion rubles to initiatives of non-profit organizations (NPOs). The winners were determined at a meeting of the Coordination Committee, which was held by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko. A total of 9310 projects from all regions of the country were submitted for the competition.
